Feeds

One of the goals here at Wikipedia Maze is to make all the information on this site as accessible as possible. To help us acheive that we have exposed quite a few different data feeds that you may find useful.

Listed below are the various feeds we expose along with some optional parameters that will help you get what you're looking for. If there is anything you need that you can't find here send us some feedback.

Format

For all of the puzzle feeds only the first 50 results will be returned.

  • atom - Atom 1.0 (default)
  • rss - Rss 2.0
  • json

You can specify the format you want by passing it as a parameter in the querystring. Excluding this parameter will return Atom 1.0 by default.

Main Puzzle Feed

This is the main feed for all the puzzles. Only the top 50 puzzles are shown.

Optional Parameters

SortType - The order in which the puzzles are sorted.

  • newest (default)
  • solutions - Highest number of solutions first
  • level - Hardest puzzles first
  • votes - Highest votes first

Puzzles by Theme

This feed allows you to get the puzzles for specific themes. Only the top 50 puzzles are shown.

Optional Parameters

SortType - The order in which the puzzles are sorted.

  • newest (default)
  • solutions - Highest number of solutions first
  • level - Hardest puzzles first
  • votes - Highest votes first

Themes - This is a comma separated list of themes. Spaces in the name of the theme should be replaced by the '-' (dash) character. Any puzzle matching 1 or more of the specified themes are returned. Themes are not case sensitive.

Puzzles By Player

This is a feed for all the puzzles created by a specific player.

Required Parameters

Id - The id of the player

Optional Parameters

SortType - The order in which the puzzles are sorted.

  • newest (default)
  • solutions - Highest number of solutions first
  • level - Hardest puzzles first
  • votes - Highest votes first

Solutions By Player

This is a feed for all the solution by a specific player. This is just the stats not the actual steps taken by the user.

Required Parameters

Id - The id of the player

Optional Parameters

SortType - The order in which the puzzles are sorted.

  • newest (default)
  • solutions - Highest number of solutions first
  • level - Hardest puzzles first
  • votes - Highest votes first
